| Xanga! Wow, i haven't updated this old thing since August 14, 2006. So now i think some of you want to know how life is going! Life is going pretty good. This first year in highschool has already reached it's half point. I must say, 2006 had been the greatest year yet! I hope that 2007 can top it! It better! :] This second semester of school is proving to not be as great as the first. Fortunately, I'm sort of optimistic, so i can hope for the best! Over at highland, we get a new batch of classes right after winter break so it's like starting the first day of school all over again. This time, I was really nervous! Almost more nervous than the real first day of school. This semester, my classes are as follows: Health, Honors English 9, Honors Algebra I, and Spanish II. I've kind of always had problems in math. Especially in the 8th grade. This year in Algebra, it's starting out well, i'm doing well, and i'm proud! So I'm over at HHS and most of my friends are over at AHS. I've kept in great contact with the ones that i want to. Some, i just have lost touch with. Just the other day, I hung out with Noah and a whole bunch of other kids at Saggios. Highland is proving itself okay, and i'm glad to be attending it. So i update my live journal almost everyday. Click Here for my Livejournal. You guys should check it out. Sorry, it's friends only. In order to read my entries, you're going to have a live journal too. | | |
| I woke up 5:30 AM and went to Meena's house at 6:43 AM. So today pretty much was super boring. The schedules were still messed up so Highland had it's first Annual Advisory Day! Woooo! It was so boring! You stayed in one class for the whole day. I was stuck in a class full of boring kids. Three of us were asian. I didn't however make contact with the asians except the boy behind me. Umm, tomorrow they will have the schedules done. I met alot of boys. | | |
| HolyMoly. School starts in whatthefuck three days!?! eek, excuse my potty mouth. :]] I shall write about the first day. Today i went and got my schedule and stayed there to help hand out schedules. I get credit too, even though i haven't even started the class. It's called Senate, i believe. && it's like Student Council.
woooooot.
I met Evan this senior kid who people talk about. He's way fun. I moved my hips infront of him. He did the same thing back. Geez, i feel so comfortable around certain people now. :]]
I also met alot of sophomores. :]] Perhaps majority of my friends will be sophomores this year.
YayUH?!
P.S. I Saw Ms. Judd, Mr. Scot, and Mr. Kaestner. I love them like woah! Mr. Scot shaved off his beard. Go check it out kiddies.

| Ahhhh! This wonderful summer is coming to an end very quickly, it seems! =[ In about three days I will be registering at my new school, a whole new one with a whole new atmosphere. I'm entering high school at Highland High school. Mmhmm, so you may be wondering what kind of feelings I'm feeling right? Well, I have mixed feelings, you can say. But for the most part, I'm feeling pretty good about Highland. I won't be seeing any of my friends that I made at Jefferson because most of them are going to attend Albuquerque HS, which I won't be going to! =[ It's sad, but fortunately, I've actually kept in good contact with some of them this summer. I'm really going to try and keep in contact with them just cause they are some great kids. :]] On the other hand, the reason I don't want to go to Highland, is because I DO NOT want to see some kids from Elementary School. (After Elementary School, I transferred to a school in another district because it was the best Middle School.) But heck, it's high school, I'll be able to stay away from most. Hehe, plus, I don't care as much anymore. :]]
So the end of the 2006 Summer has marked some cool things that have happened in my life. + Number One is that I'm actually pretty good at DDR now. I used to play like a (insert simile here), in other words I sucked! + Number Two: I have started speaking more Chinese (diojiu) && Vietnamese to family members and friends. Yay! I'd give myself a pat on the back for that! *gives self a pat on the back* ;] + Number Three: I'm beginning to communicate with my family better. Not much yelling happening anymore. I like it! :] + Number Four: I've called people and "kept in contact!" + Number Five: Had my first summer job as a cashier/miscellaneous worker! It wasn't too bad and I got paid! + Number Six: Went to the most awesome RAVE ever. I bruised and was dizzy for several, (notice the several is underlined and bold) days! + Number Seven: Visited the Grand Canyon on the 4th of July, it was my first time. It's beautiful. + Number Eight: Actually exercised for the most part! :] Here comes another pat on the back Tracy! *gives self pat on the back* haha! + Number Nine: Got a haircut with side bangs. + Number Ten: Listened to so much techno/eurodance/trance lately that I've been crazy! + Number Eleven: Made Gu Chai Gue for the first time ever! I actually got to make it, touch it and mix it! Heckyes. I didn't have to just watch. :] + Number Twelve: I cut off my soda supply? I think that's how I put it. I've stopped drinking soda, completely. I don't even crave it anymore! + Number Thirteen: Got a new phone! It's a Pink Razr V3. (is there a reason they spell razor without the o)? + Number Fourteen: We might possibly be well on our way to getting a new house!!! :] *crazyrunningaroundandjumping* + Number Fifteen: Our family owns a copy of Battle Royale now! Heckyes. + Number Sixteen: Learned to control my anger. Yay!
Here are some of the songs that I've got addicted to or got into for awhile this summer of 2006. BOLD= Favourites. + Laughing At You - Head Automatica + Make Up Sex - Clear Static + Crawling Towards The Sun - The Hush Sound + Bossy - Kelis + Pt.1: MFEO , Pt.2: You Can Breathe - Jack's Mannequin + A Little More Time - ZOX + Castles In The Sky - DJ Satomi + Chelsea - Stefy + Painted By Numbers - The Sounds + Ms. New Booty - Bubba Sparxx + Wow, I Can Be Sexual Too - Say Anything + Holiday From Real - Jack's Mannequin + Dieci Cinto Mille - Brothers + Face Down - The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus + Crazy - Gnarls Barkley + Believe Me - Fort Minor + Here In Your Arms - Hellogoodbye + Don't Wake Me Up - The Hush Sound
So you guys should know that I'm pretty much the most happiest kid in the world now.
I just finished this blog entry and it's 1:40ish. I need to spell check it and such. Let's see how long 'till I'm done! Hehe, that took me awhile so I'd be expecting comments, yo.

| So if you guys don't know, I'm Chinese. And I speak a language called Diojiu. Diojiu is a Chinese dialect originating from southeastern China. My family speaks it for the most part. That's when we aren't communicating in English. My sister refuses to speak it, but can understand 98% of it. I speak it when I can, with family members or friends. :]] But I believe that if I don't speak it some more, it's all going to be forgotten. I've already forgotten some words! My mother nags my sister and I to speak it and I understand why she does it. She doesn't want us to forget the language. She speaks it all the time. My sister and I will speak to her in English while she replies in Diojiu. My dad, on the other hand, speaks english to us. When we were younger he would speak it more but it's like all of a sudden he only speaks English to us. He speaks Diojiu to our mother but English to us.
Gaginang.org is a website dedicated to the Diojiu people. Here is what they say on their website: "Diojiu culture is very rich and diverse. Diojiu from Southeast Asia
have been influenced in language and culture by their host countries.
Many Diojiu are multilingual in various Chinese dialects and Southeast
Asian languages. This website uses “Diojiu” as the standard spelling.
You may find that it is spelled differently elsewhere: Teochiu (various), Teochew (Malaysia/Indonesia/Singapore), Chiuchow (Hong Kong), Chaozhou (China), Trieu Chau (Vietnam), Taejiu (Thailand), Swatow (English), etc."
So why am I telling you guys this? Well, today, I'm waiting for my aunt to come home from work. I'm waiting to go over to her house and help her make Gu Chai Gue, which is the most scrumptious food ever! Gu Chai Gue is a Diojiu specialty! It translates out to be "Chives Cake." It's deliciousness makes me happy. :] They are little cakes that are steamed to perfection. Don't worry, they aren't like american birthday cakes! Instead they are small little packets of Chives along with nuts, meat or other variety of things . They are greasy and yummy! Heck Yes! They are really hard for me to describe. And i can't google any picture of it except for the one's the provide on Gaginang.org
So here is a picture of Gu Chai Gue. Delicious, man!

So I can't wait 'till she gets home, I'm supposed to help her make 'em! | | |
